The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
Displayed are the hand-drawn sketches of an elliptic cylinder and an ellipsoid, each accompanied by their respective mathematical equations. The cylinder is illustrated in Fig. 47, and its equation suggests that it extends infinitely along the z-axis, while the ellipsoid shown in Fig. 49 has a finite three-dimensional shape described by its equation. The white text and illustrations stand out against the chalkboard-like dark background, evoking a classroom setting.
